Bittor Requejo Agirre arrives to painting from photographing landscapes, a hobby which he’s had during many years in his trips and excursions. It therefore isn’t surprising that his works are based on photographs.

Self-taught, he started painting in spring 2012.

He uses acrylic paint either on canvas or on board, and he does so, mainly because the colors that the acrylic generates are bright and very clean, perfectly adapted to the idea of color which he seeks to capture in his works.
